Through this experience, we hope you will develop lasting connections and friendships between women of all backgrounds dedicated to the holistic well-being of others.

With inspiring views of downtown Norfolk, Virginia and the Elizabeth River, the Sheraton Norfolk Waterside Hotel boasts an eclectic restaurant, well-appointed rooms and 17 impressive event venues. Attractions such as Norfolk Naval Base, Town Point Park and Old Dominion University are nearby. Just outside the hotel, Norfolk is a hub for intriguing sightseeing and entertainment, including Nauticus and Chrysler Museum of Art.

WHAT IS THE BLOOM BALL?
It's a semi-formal/formal event. Wear your own expression of floral print attire, and
let's raise money to provide women with FREE access to mental, social and physical health resources.
CAN I COME TO THE SISFRENCE ALONE?
Absolutely! Come as you are and be accepted as you are! Traveling alone is a great way to meet new people, and at the SISFRENCE we’re all in it together.
I WANT TO SHARE A ROOM, BUT I AM TRAVELING ALONE, DO YOU ASSIGN ME SOMEONE TO SHARE THE ROOM WITH?
Exactly! We’d be happy to put you together in a room with another amazing Sis. Each room is unique and rooms are assigned on a first-come-first-served basis.
WHICH AIRPORT DO I FLY INTO?
You will fly into Norfolk International Airport (ORF). Please make sure you fly in as early as possible to make it to the hotel in time for the SISFRENCE official kickoff time at 5 pm. The hotel is only 20 mins from the airport.
HOW DO I GET FROM AIRPORT TO THE VENUE?
Shuttle Provided, UBER or LYFT
DOES THE HOTEL HAVE PARKING?
Yes Sis, at a discounted rate of $28.00 for the conference weekend.
WHAT TIME DOES THE SISFRENCE START AND END?
The SISFRENCE will officially begin at 5:00 PM on June 22, 2023 and end after the Bloom Ball, Saturday June 24, 2023.
WILL I GET ANY “FREE” TIME?
For sure. We schedule some down time in the daily itinerary to give you the opportunity to reconnect with yourself on a deeper level, whether that means relaxing by the pool, a selfcare activity, or enjoying time with new Sistas.
IS MY DEPOSIT REFUNDABLE IF I DECIDE TO CANCEL THE TRIP?
The deposit secures your place for the SISFRENCE and is non-refundable. If you decide to cancel your trip, we cannot refund your deposit. Due to Say it Sis Inc. placing all donations to work quickly, we do not offer refunds on any donations or any paid events. Please ensure you purchase adequate travel insurance to cover any fees you may incur if you have to cancel your trip.
WHEN DO I PAY THE REMAINING BALANCE?
The payment is set up in 4 payments on the following timeline
1. $250.00 at the time of booking, due by March 15, 2023.
2. Remainder due by June 1, 2023, via $100.00 payments.
